Shani (Saturn) Mantras Recitation

Planet Saturn or Shani Graha is highly revered in Hinduism as Lord Shani is the god of righteousness. Shani Dev is that divine form who keeps a watch on an individual’s good and bad deeds and bestows them the fruits of the same. Planet Saturn plays a vital role in making a person’s life a successful one or a failure.

Planet Saturn or Shani Dev is the ruler of the zodiac signs Aquarius (Kumbh Rashi) and Capricorn (Makar Rashi). Those natives of Capricorn and Aquarius with planet Saturn placed in an auspicious position will be blessed and protected by the deity. But, if the planet is in an unfavourable house of the horoscope it means the person is going through Shani dosha. Also, there is a crucial period which is Shani Sade sati yoga wherein the person going through this phase will face a lot of challenges.

In order to be shielded from these malefic effects of Shani Graha one must chant powerful Shani Mantra. Carrying out Shani Mantra Jaap as per the rules stated in the holy scriptures and under the guidance of experts will help you overcome the ill effects of the planet.

The Shani Beej Mantra “Om Pram Prim Prom Sah Shanishcharayen Namah” and Shani Navagraha Mantra “Neelaanjanasamaabhaasam Raviputram Yamaagrajam, Chaayaamaartandasambhuutam Tam Namaami Shanaishcharam - Om Shaanaishcaraaya Namah” must be recited rigorously and with utmost faith to get relieved from the bad effects of planet Saturn.

However, one must remember that while reciting Shani Mantra or Sade Sati Mantra; the performer must start it on a Saturday of Shukla Paksha. It is advised to chant these mantras in the evening that is after Sunset and the person doing this must preferably wear black clothes.

One must use a black onyx rosary for the jaap and the mantras should be chanted 108 times. In addition, to appease Lord Shani, one must offer black sesame seeds and mustard oil to the deity. Wearing blue Sapphire will attract positive energy but you must consult an expert before adorning the same. Lord Shani can also be appeased by donating food and money to the needy.

The benefits of Shani Mantra are immense and below are mentioned some of them:

  • These truly effective mantras will relieve you from the sins of past life.

  • The mantras will boost your confidence and you will excel in all aspects of life
  • You will be freed from health related problems.
  • Shani Mantra Jaap will remove all the obstacles and new opportunities will come your way.
