Mars (Mangal) Mantras Recitation

Mars is a red planet and is the nearest one to the earth. Scientifically, there are a lot of resemblances between the earth and Mars such as the tilt in the axis and the time taken for rotation. So, it is generally said that it is an escaped object from earth.

In Hindu Mythology, planet Mars (Mangal graha) is referred to as Bhumi Putra. When Mother Earth was submerged in the sea, Lord Vishnu in his Varaha avatar brought the earth out and positioned it in an appropriate axis. Then, Mother Earth asked Lord Vishnu a child as a boon for which the lord agreed and that is how Mangal Graha came into existence.

Mangal is said to be the masculine planet as it represents all manly shades like strong body, dominating quality, violent behaviour, courageous, confident, believe in oneself and is always energetic.

As per astrology, the zodiacs Mesha (Aries) and Vrischik (Scorpion) are owned by Mars. Individuals with Mars as their ruling planet are usually rude and impulsive. They possess red eyes, thin waist and a thin body but they are broad minded and helping natured. The planet goes well with Sun, Jupiter and Moon but with Mercury it is contrary.

It is said that, individuals with Mars in a strong position will enjoy good name and fame. On the other hand, with a weak Mars or Mars present in an unfavourable house in one’s horoscope, those individuals will have to struggle a lot in all aspects of life. So, in order to strengthen the weak Mars or to turn the inauspicious Mars to an auspicious one; it is advised to perform Mars Mantra Jaap.

The Mars Mantra “Dharani Garbhasambhutam Vidyutkaanti Samaprabham

Kumaaram Shaktihastam Cha Tam Mangalam Pranamaamyaham - Om Mangalaaya Namah” has to be chanted as per the instructions of learned pundits as it one of the ultimate Mangal Dosha remedies.

Vedic texts state that there are numerous benefits of Mars Mantra recitation when done as per the rituals mentioned in the vedic scriptures and with utmost faith. Individuals carrying out this ritual will

  • Be protected from the malefic effects of planet Mars
  • The mantras will attract positivity from the Mangal Graha
  • The performer will come out of debts, miserliness, and health problems by regular chanting of Mars Mantra
  • You will learn to control your anger by doing Mars Mantra Jaap with complete dedication.
