The procedure of the Rahu Brihaspati Sandhi Shanti Homa includes the following pujas and Japaas that are done by the expert Pandits on behalf of the devotees. Here is the procedure is given in brief;

Ganapathi Pooja, Punyahavachanam, and Kalasa Pooja are performed. Once the said poojas are done, the Avahanam japams of Rahu and Guru grahas are chanted. Later, just after the Japams, Dasams Homam of each Graha is Performed along with Navagraha Homam.
