Lunar Eclipse is an eclipse in which the moon looks darkened as it passes into the shadow of earth. A lunar eclipse usually occurs when the moon passes directly behind the earth and it occurs only on the full moon night, which is popularly known as “Poornima”.

The second lunar eclipse for the year 2018 will be on 27th July, which can be seen throughout the country. The cycles of the moon have some great impacts on human body hence one should be familiar with the do’s and don’ts during lunar eclipse.

Below are few things that you should definitely do on the day of eclipse

· In order to maintain the purity of the food, put some Doorva grass in all your eatables as it has the super natural power of fighting against the effects of lunar eclipse.

· In your horoscope if you have Kaal-sarp dosh then you should recite Mahamrityuanjaya mantra maximum times.

· Pregnant ladies should recite various mantras all through the period of eclipse.

· In the name of pitra, you should donate a cow, clothes, grains or a piece of land.

· You should not sleep during the eclipse.

· If you eat something at the time of the eclipse, you should fast for the next three days.

· Avoid driving a vehicle and traveling from one place to another.

· Pregnant women should not use a knife or cut any vegetables.

· Do not apply oil to your body and take a bath during the eclipse.

· Postpone all your important tasks.

By following the above mentioned points during lunar eclipse, you can save yourself by the negative vibes generated by the eclipse.
