Put a red cloth and install the idol of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu. After this, offer yellow clothes to Lord Vishnu and red clothes to Goddess Lakshmi. Offer flowers to them and offer make-up items to Goddess Lakshmi. Light a lamp of Ghee and worship Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu properly. Listen to the story of the birth of Mata Lakshmi and offer Kheer and sweets to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu.

There was an outcry in the whole world due to the departure of Maa Lakshmi. After this, Indra, the lord of heaven did harsh penance and worshiped Goddess Lakshmi with a special law. Seeing Indradev, the other gods and sages also worshiped Goddess Lakshmi with the method of the law. Mother Lakshmi was pleased to see the devotion of her devotees and appeared again. Since then, this day is celebrated as Lakshmi Jayanti.
