“Om suraachaarya vidmahe, surashreshtaya dhimahi, tanno guruh prachodayat”

This mantra says, “I bow down to the Lord Brihaspati, the God of the planet Jupiter. The wisest of all gods, let the Guru brighten my intellect and lead me towards the path of fulfillment to move on.

Guidelines to chant Brihaspati Mantra

To get excellent results, the Brihaspati Mantra is to be chanted early in the morning just after taking a bath. You can also visit the Navagrahas temple or recite the mantra in front of the idol of Brihaspati.

The best time to chant this mantra is Brahma Muhurta i.e; 4 am to 6 am on Thursday. Make use of the Tulasi, Sandalwood or Rudraksha rosary while chanting the mantras.

You can wear yellow color clothes as this color is said to be the favorite of Lord Brihaspati or Jupiter. You can also donate yellow clothes to the poor, or also can donate books, chana dal, jaggery, turmeric, salt, etc.
