Shuddhikaran puja begins with worshipping Lord Ganesh and then kalash sthapana is done. The things required to perform this puja are kalash, mango leaves, coconut, betel leaves, areca nuts, fresh flowers, rice, ghee, incense sticks, camphor, diya and wicks.
