Rudraksha is basically a seed which is used in making rosaries used by Hindu devotees especially in Shaivism. Wearing Rudraksha is believed to protect you from the negative energies and the mala made of it is used for chanting mantras.

The most common coloured rudraksha is brown but you can also find red, yellow and black rudrakshas as well.

  • Do not wear it while you are attending the funerals
