What's Included

Om Hram Hreem Hroum Sah Suryaya Namah

This is one of the most important mantras that can be chanted while performing the Surya Homam. The process of this ritual includes offering water to the Lord Sun, incense sticks, sacred herb sticks, and ghee followed by the mantras, Stotras, & Slokas as well.

To get the maximum amount of blessings of the Lord Surya, Pandits suggest this Homam be performed on Sundays that comes with Saptami Tithis that are the best for this ritual.

Once the complete Homam is done, you should offer the Prasadam and Dakshina to the Pandits, and take their blessings. The grey ash or the Angara present in the Homam is then daily applied on the forehead & kept at the place of puja.
