What Is Sri Chakra? Decode The Importance Of Sri Chakra, Procedure For Puja, Mantras And Benefits

Importance of Sri Chakra

Sri Chakra is the sacred geometric pattern & a tool to fulfill all the desires. Also called “Meru Prastha Shree Yantra”, there are a total of three types of Yantra, namely, Bhu Prastha, Kurma Prastha & Meru Prastha. One of the Sri Yantra secrets is that it is the symbolic form of Gods & Goddess with prepared without the knowledge of the present-day maths.

How To Do Shree Yantra Pooja

Let us check out as to what is the procedure for Hindus to perform this puja.

For Hindus - Just before commencing the puja, all you have to do is the “Sthapana” of the Yantra on Friday. To eliminate the negativity out of the crystal, you need to soak this Yantra in saline water overnight, i.e on Thursday. Then wash it with water & place it on the moist mud under the sunlight for a few hours & then use it for Puja.

Place the Yantra on the plate & wash it with water & saffroned milk, later washing it again with water. Sprinkle water and light some incense sticks where the Yantra is to be kept & keep chanting the mantra “Aim Hreem Namaha”. Next, you have to do is place the Yantra on the yellow cloth & sheet of gold/silver, applying kumkum, sandal paste & coral mala on this Yantra.

Along with the Shivling placed beside this yantra, offer yellow flowers, jaggery raw turmeric, incense sticks & chant the below mantra 108 times with the Lotus seed rosary;

“Om Shreem Hreem Kamle Kamlalaye, Praseed, Praseed, Shreem,

Hreem Shreem Om Mahalaxmaye Namaha”

Later, cover this Yantra with a red cloth & pray every Friday offering the same four items offered earlier. On the other days, you only have to take darshan of the Yantra by lifting the red cloth & meditate concentrating on the tip of the Yantra with open eyes. This is how to energize Shree Yantra with mantras to get blessings.

For other religions -

As this Yantra works on the Cosmic Ray Theory, other than Hindus, other religions believe in the cosmic theory of stones. They do not perform puja, instead, place it near the Holy Books or place of worship concentrating on the same tip. The same mantra mentioned above is to be recited.

Benefits of Sri Chakra

  1. It brings overall fortune, prosperity and accelerates the flow of wealth.
  2. Along with bringing good luck to the individual & his family, this Sri Yantra also brings name, fame, clears obstacles & shows the path of success.
