Important Vastu Tips For A Perfect Bedroom

Bedroom is one of the most integral parts of our house where we relax after a tiring day and enjoy the sound sleep to refresh for the next day. This is the reason why the complete house should be designed as per the modern Vastu norms which plays a very important in our daily life.

Nearly one-third of our lives are spent sleeping in our bedrooms, hence is it much necessary to place the bedroom in the right direction. Bedrooms with accurate Vastu science give highly positive results while on the other hand, non-Vastu compliant bedrooms can lead to major problems.

But just before unwrapping the positive and negative traits of the bedroom being placed in the north-east direction, let us have a look into why is north-east so powerful in Vastu Shastra. Said to be the direction of the presiding deity Lord Shiva with Jupiter as its ruling planet.

This direction is the most sensitive & auspicious direction where highly progressive, powerful and positive energies are created. They aid in the acceleration of good health, wealth, prosperity and overall development. Therefore, there are some do’s & don'ts, that will guide you in placing the bedroom in the right direction.

  • One should strictly avoid having bedrooms in the North-east and south-east corners instead it should be placed in the South-West direction corner of the house. The head of the family must occupy this bedroom.
  • As per the Vastu analysis bedrooms should not be in the center of the house and should be either of the rectangular or square in shape and bigger than other rooms.
  • The entrance to the bedroom is to be done from east-west or north walls and not from the south wall. Moreover, the walls on the east & north direction are excellent for windows.
  • The location of the children's bedroom as per Vastu should be east, where even guests can be occupied, while the south-west corner of the master bedroom should be always occupied.
  • If in case the bedroom is available in the south-east direction, one can use it as a bedroom of the unmarried son or as an office.
  • The bedrooms in the north-east direction are not recommended for couples, whereas the Vastu says, only married couples can use the master bedrooms.

Moreover, northeast bedroom for couples can lead to the following problems like,

  • Clashes between the husband and the wife, huge quarrels, occurrences of differences, lack of happiness and peace.
  • A disturbing sexual and love life, problems in pregnancy & conception, emotional imbalance, kidney, blood, migraine, head injury, and other health-related issues.
  • The wrong judgment, confusion, suspicion, and indecision can lead to separation and divorce in extreme cases.
  • Financial instability, loss or wastage of money, failure to pay the debts or loans and bankruptcy.
