How will placing of a tortoise help in prospering?

Tortoise is regarded as very sacred and has got a huge prominence in Vaastu Shastra. As the tortoise is blessed with a long life, Vaastu Shastra recommends placing a tortoise at home. According to Puranas, during Samudra Manthan, Lord Vishnu took the form of tortoise which is called as the Kurma avatar.

Nowadays most of the people believe in Vaastu Shastra, hence every house is adorned with a tortoise made up of glass, metal, wood, mud and other materials. One should follow certain Vaastu rules before placing the tortoise at home to get benefitted.

The tortoise is considered a celestial creature, one of four. The tortoise represents the compass direction of the north, the element of water and the number one. His corner of the bagua represents earned income, such as from a job or business, and support for career and business endeavors.

One should place the tortoise made up of mud or resin in the north-east, center or in the south-west direction of the house.

If the tortoise is made up of metal, it should be kept in the north and north-west direction to get huge benefits. However, one must always remember that wherever you place the tortoise statuette, it should be facing east direction.

The statue of tortoise should always be kept in a similar material dish which has a depth and water should be poured in it. One must ensure that the dish is always filled with water as the tortoise in water is believed to bestow harmony, peace, money and long life to the residents of the house.

The water should be enough to soak the feet of the tortoise figurine and the level of water should be checked on a regular basis.

Tortoise demonstrates that those who keep working and applying themselves with tenacity win the race and they empower you to keep going.

One can place a small tortoise statue under your bed to get a peaceful sleep at night. It also brings in added support that would bestow more refreshing rest and protection while you are sleeping.

Place a turtle image or figure in the north sector of your living room to increase your generating income and opportunities for more income and job promotions. In addition, you can place a coin in its mouth which indicates the impending arrival of money.
