In Vedic astrology, planet Mars is also called Mangal or Kuja Graha and mangal dosha is one commonly found doshas. An individual is said to be growing through mangal dosha when planet Mars is situated in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th and 12th house in his/her horoscope. Those people who are under the influence of this dosha are called Mangliks.

Mangal dosha is known by other names like Angarika dosha, Bhom dosha and kuja dosha. The characteristics of Mangal dosha are,

  • Both men and women can be the victims of this dosha.
  • People with mangal dosha are short tempered and this sometimes will put them into trouble.
  • It is said that people with this dosha are like fire hence using their energy in the proper way is very much vital else it can be misused.
